Although they are big by North American spider standards, they do not weigh all that much.  There are about 1300 different species of wolf spider though found throughout the world, so the weight would depend on which species of wolf spider one has in mind.  I think the largest gets to be a little over one inch.   No they are not known to be killers of humans, although the bites of some can be painful. There is a species of S.

The weight of this spider can vary quite a bit depending on region, sex, age and several other biological factors. Though they do have an extremely potent venom, this is only used for catching food and not as a defensive mechanism like most other spiders. You should have no fear of the Wolf Spider, but I would not recommend trying to make a pet out of one.

none of the 'wolf spider' species (family Lycosidae ) are poisonous.

all of the species, like most spiders are venomous, but considered

harmless. the larger species can deliver a mildly painful

bite(pin prick) but is usually insignificant.

their size varies widely with species, but can get over 1 inch in length.

There was a fairly large wolf spider that got stuck inside a beaker in my lab recently.  I weighed it on the analytical balance, out of curiosity, and found it to be 0.108 grams (108 milligrams).  It's fully spread diameter was approximately 25 mm (about an inch).
